Product Description
Tired of trying to pull into traffic and even with the slightest wheel spin the Lexus traction control activates, shutting the throttle and cutting off engine power to the point of not being able to accelerate? Tired of having to push the button to turn the track off every time you start up the car? Need to add a switch to control lighting or other electrical equipment but don't want to add an additional switch?
The traction control memory module is used to add a memory feature to the traction control switch in your vehicle. The unit automatically stores the ON/OFF state of traction control when the vehicle is shut off and restores the setting when the ignition is turned on. This module is compatible with any push button (momentary) switch.
Furthermore, this new model of the traction control module comes with an additional wire (green) that closes to ground when you depress the traction button twice quickly. This retains the traction setting and the functionality of the button for changing the traction settings, but now also allows one to use the traction button as a relay activiation- aka as a switch, for such things such as lighting, boost settings, purging or the TS DIY fan mod. This is great for those wanting to keep their IS300 interior free of additional buttons or do not have space due to having heater buttons.

Hands down, the BEST MOD you can possibly make to your IS300

Just like the first reviewer wrote, I constantly used to forget to turn hit the TRAC OFF button whenever starting up my car.
As an experienced and aggressive driver (AE86 owner...go figure) having traction control turn on when least expected is not only a nuisance but can be incredibly dangerous when I expect the car to act or perform a certain way only have it sputter and fail due to a little tire spinning.
This mod actually SAVED MY CAR AND MY MOTHER FROM A COLLISION last week. She's been driving my IS300 while I'm busy swapping a 5-speed into her SportCross. Apparently she had turned onto a road in front a driver that was going way too fast...luckily the Token Solutions Trac off memory module was installed and she was able to hammer the gas and easily pull away from the speeding car before being rear-ended. This was on a wet street with slush/snow and pulling away like that would have been impossible without the TRAC OFF being set.
I'm here writing this review as I purchase another module, this time for her SportCross. I've also already had another friend buy this module on my recommendation, and chances are I know of two more new IS300 owners who I'll be sending to this site as well.

In the IS300 IMO, the traction control logarithm is a bit rudimentary and aggressive. For a skilled driver, especially when driving hard, it is too intrusive and can be quite annoying..personally I only ever wanted to use TRAC when i was on a canyon run in the wet... ANY other time, I wanted it OFF. But every time I shut down the car it reset and I had to remember to kill it again when I hopped back in. The default setting was ON, a great feature for an OEM Car MFG to use but as an enthusiast owner..i was dying for a way to switch the system to: Default OFF,....
THANK GAWD for Token Solutions! I was lucky enough to get one of the 1st units Sean Produced and it is a God send! I no longer Roll onto the gas around a corner & feel like the car lost 2 cylinders somewhere back up the road, 'cause I forgot to turn off the darn TC.! The module works great, is stone reliable, been running with it for over 2 years now and i just love it. It is IMO a virtual necessity for any aggressively driven IS300, No one drives my car but me, so I have no concerns about the trac being off when the wife or any one else drives the car.
