A situation arising with newer cars being used by enthusiasts for off-road racing is the want to retain OBDII’s safety net and trouble shooting abilities. Hard to do so when the CEL light is on because of performance modifications.  This simulator is used to retain OBDII diagnostic function and therefore the engine light's function after modifying the exhaust system for off road performance racing events.  FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY

Details are-

  • Fully assembled and tested simulator.
  • Microcontroller based for reliability and accuracy.
  • Specifically designed printed circuit board.
  • NOT for primary o2 sensor.

    • Note: Simulates the o2 signal but not the heater signal, the o2 sensor needs to remain plugged into the ECU.

    Note: Simulator has successfully been used on MKIV Supras and a 1997 SC300 (year model 01-03 configuration setting on simulator).

      I did a turbo kit on my car and this was exactly what I needed to get my car to stop giving me a CEL. I did have to splice my second bank O2 heater signals together to get rid of a heater fault. I suspect it is a result is the turbo kit, because I never had that issue until the kit. This is a great product and it comes with a write up and full tech support is you need it. The plug and play would be the way to go if you didn't want to do ANY wiring. This would be five stars if it had the heater signal as well, but I made it work out anyways. Thanks again.
