Recirculation-Style Water/Meth Injection Standard Pump

AEM’s recirculation-style pump offers improved performance, reliability and a much smoother, quieter operation when compared to older switched-style pumps. With the use of a new internal bypass design, AEM’s upgraded pump eliminates the erratic on and off switching/pulsing and ensures consistent fluid delivery for optimum performance. With durability and reliability in mind, AEM has designed the pump with a Santoprene diaphragm and EPDM seals to withstand the harshest of alcohol mixes.  The pump head also includes built in quick connect fittings saving one the hassle of buying these parts seperately and installing them!

AEM Water/Methanol injectors are CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and then hard anodized in black and laser etched with the AEM logo. These new injectors also now come with an integrated check valve!  The injector nozzle kit includes one new style injector, one of each sized nozzle (.0155, .0315 and .0630 sizes), a "T" fitting with quick connect ends and 48" of nylon hose which allows you to add a second injector to your water/methanol system quickly and easily.PRODUCT FEATURES

All AEM Water/Meth injection systems and components (pump, lines, fittings, filter, flow sensor, tank, and nozzles) are 100% chemically compatible with methanol. However, for safety reasons we strongly recommend that users never use more than a 50% methanol concentration in our systems.
 
Methanol is a toxic and highly flammable chemical. 100% Methanol ignites easily and burns vigorously with an almost undetectable flame. Methanol can be absorbed through the skin and even small amounts can cause blindness or even death. Using this fluid at high pressures, without dilution, in an under-hood environment with nylon lines and push-to-connect fittings is very unsafe. The performance advantages of using greater than 50% methanol concentrations are small, if they exist at all. However, the safety issues are very real and far out weigh any perceived benefit of running high concentrations of methanol.
