Please wait...TS is very excited to offer this NGK Iridium plug that is one step colder than the 2jz-ge (and two steps colder than the 5vz-fe OE plugs), but is pre-gapped for those who run upgraded ignition systems. Often when upgrading boost, the end user/tuner closed the spark-plug gap to prevent spark "blow out" from the increased chamber pressures. This method is a band-aid solution to allow an N/A OE ignition system cope with forced induction, with the nasty side-effect of poor vacuum/low-load engine operation, lower MPGs and low-load miss-fires.
For those using upgraded ignition mods such as the HKS DLI or upgraded coils and ignitors, this plug comes pre-gapped at .043, maintaining great OE drivability in low-load conditions, while the upgraded ignition system allows it to operate in high boost also. This is a GREAT plug for the Toyota 5vz-fe supercharged system WITHOUT ignition upgrades, as the TRD supercharger even with smaller pullies does not require the spark plug gap to be reduced from OE spec.
